Our client experienced an increase in the amplitudes of vibrations in the bearing of a fan motor. Carnac - Project Delivery Services (Carnac) conducted an assessment of the maintenance timeline and identified that the vibration occurred after the blower impeller was balanced. Carnac performed a process, mechanical and structural assessment of the fan blower and its surrounding structures.
Carnac provided recommendations of suitable operating conditions of the fan blower. Carnac also provided a trial plan to assess the blower frame frequency.
