Carnac – Project Delivery Services Pty Ltd (Carnac) provided engineering services to assess design options to remove the process flow constraint of the Digestion facility relief system. Carnac’s assessment included the following:
Completed a 3rd party material risk review before the project commenced;
Reviewed the rules to operate and previous relief reports to define a centralised database of pressure relief scenarios;
Performed a review with the client, to present and evaluate findings of the definition phase of the project; and
Refined the project outcomes, with a focus on:
Development of “redline” P&IDs;
High level process design criteria;
A Pre-concept screening estimate; and
A recommendation for future phases of study.
