Carnac – Project Delivery Services Pty Ltd (Carnac) provided engineering services to design a maintenance platform to eliminate the need to construct scaffolding and simplify the maintenance process. Carnac’s assessment included the following:
Investigation of the area and opportunities to improve heater maintenance;
Concept level design including but not limited to the following options:
Towable platform;
Self-driven platform;
Rotable heaters; and
Permanent structure.
Produced concept sketches where required;
Produced a concept estimate of each option; and
Submitted a report on the concept viability based on estimated costs and maintenance optimisation.
