Carnac was engaged by the client to provide engineering support to assess operational issues that the client's fines plant was experiencing since the completion of commissioning late 2015. The scrubber was experiencing surging issues and was producing excessive fines content, and the power usage to operate the scrubber was higher than Operations were expecting. Carnac performed an initial and limited desktop study of the process and recommendations were provided using Carnac's preliminary observations of the facility design.
